Special glasses are an essential part of the experience of 3D television viewing. There are many people who love to watch 3D television but wearing glasses. This, discomfort will soon be history. Japan based TOSHIBA CORPORATION in the second week of October 2010, unveiled the world’s first high definition liquid crystal display 3D television that does not require special glasses-one of the biggest consumer complaints about 3D technology.

Electronics and entertainment companies around the world are banking on 3D technology to fuel a new boom in TV, movies and games. Most 3D TVs in the market today rely on glasses to rapidly deliver separate images on the each eye, which creates a sense of three dimensional depths.
